Charles Bennett is a life time resident of Eastern New Mexico. He was raised on a dry land farm with a dairy operation. While in school at Eastern New Mexico University he purchased an irrigated farm and had a cow/calf operation. After selling his cattle and farming operation Charles opened his real estate company, Vista Nueva, in 1986 as the qualifying broker.
Since beginning his career in real estate, Charles’ knowledge of the area and the specialties of dealing with New Mexico properties are unsurpassed. Charles has working knowledge of the New Mexico State Land Office, Bureau of Land Management, New Mexico Fish and Wildlife and the State Engineer’s Office.
Charles focuses on agricultural properties with working cattle ranches making up the bulk of his sales. He is very knowledgeable about dry land and irrigated farms along with the dairy operations of the area. Charles is a member of the Joint Land Use Study involved with Cannon Air Force Base to ensure that owners’ property rights are not violated. He is also involved in the land swap issues of the New Mexico State Land Office and Bureau of Land Management involving oil and gas leases. He is also up to date on the issues of the sand dune lizard and the prairie chicken.
